About American Collegiate Academy

Committed to Education

American Collegiate Academy was founded with one purpose - to build a space for all students to grow, learn and create with each passing day. Through a unique teaching approach and a truly passionate staff, we help students develop academically and personally to the highest level.

At American Collegiate Academy, we pride ourselves on a strong culture of caring, learning, achievement, and high expectations. Our commitment to our academic community is rooted in our mission – Assisting our students in achieving their fullest potential by utilizing a student-centered, learning approach that prepares students for college and beyond. We foster success by a commitment to quality and cooperative efforts among our school, students, parents, and surrounding communities.

These days parents are challenged to spend their financial resources wisely, when seeking a private education program for their children, as well as providing them with the essential skills for success in today’s world, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, real-world skills, a strong sense of ethics, and a broad range of abilities to successfully launch them into higher education, a career and a positive quality of life itself.

Everyone has experienced education as a student. These experiences have shaped how we view and value education and how we think it should develop in the future. At American Collegiate Academy, we critically examine a range of ideas around education, learning styles, and instructional methods. Our aim has always been to think unconventionally and to be able to provide innovative methods of effectively delivering instructions to our students.

Currently, our traditional method of education, as we know it lies at a crossroads in our society. We have long endured a systems approach to teaching, learning, testing and above all administrative oversight. The inability to offer student-centered school cultures has impaired our ability to form long-lasting genuine relationships. Unfortunately, this is due in part to school size, inflexibility, and excessive bureaucracy or adherence to rules and formalities that promotes the "institutionalization" of our children's education. Therefore, the traditional method of education has never changed. Students continue to follow a rigid schedule moving around and about through vast hallways, staircases, and elevators trying to reach each destination with a frantic pace.

American Collegiate Academy believes that education should never follow an "assembly-line" approach. We understand how our dynamic global, digital and knowledge-rich societies of the 21st century are transforming learning and calling for relevant innovations in educational practice, "NOT" educational logistics. Our educators are responsive to changes in our communities. Transforming the lives of young people around the world is our primary goal. Globalization, the digital revolution, and advancements in our understanding of students' unique learning styles, all present new opportunities
